- Criminal Law: Examples & Explanations by Richard G. Singer
- Writing a Legal Memo by John Bronsteen
- Getting to Maybe: How to Excel on Law School Exams by Richard Michael Fischl and Jeremy Paul
The Examples & Explanations series is (generally speaking) quite reliable. But my favorite E&E author is Joseph Glannon - read the books and I'm sure most of you will concur that Glannon is the best at distilling information into bite-size, understandable nuggets.
